Display and Design

The Find X9 Pro gets a larger 6.78-inch flat OLED screen with 2772 × 1272 resolution. Like the standard X9, it runs at a 120Hz refresh rate with 1,800 nits global brightness and 3,600 nits local peaks on 20% of the screen. It supports HDR Vivid, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+, while OPPO claims this screen’s brightness can go as low as 1 nit.
Similarly, OPPO kept the ultra-thin 1.15mm symmetrical bezels here too. The X9 Pro has a matte glass at the back and matte aluminum frames, alongside a revamped squircle camera module, which replaces the circular modules of the Find X8 Pro. It is available in three colors: “Frost White”, “Velvet Titanium”, and “Light Red”.

Performance and Chipset

Powering the Find X9 Pro is the same MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip as the regular OPPO Find X9. The Dimensity 9500 brings significant upgrades over the Dimensity 9400, like:

GPU: 33% higher peak performance
NPU: 2x faster token generation
Whereas MediaTek’s latest flagship chip is equally power-efficient. And OPPO has paired this beast with 12/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Mirroring the standard Find X9.

Similarly, the Find X9 Pro runs on Android 16 with OPPO’s ColorOS 16 on top, while it has 5 major OS updates and 6 years of security patches guaranteed. In addition to that, you are also getting Google Gemini AI, which is integrated alongside OPPO’s own tools like AI Portrait Glow, AI Recorder, and AI Mind Space. The Find X9 Pro can even pair with an Apple Watch!
Camera system

The main camera uses a 50MP Sony LYT-828 sensor (1/1.28″) with f/1.5 aperture and a 7-element lens with OIS. Unlike the X9, the default shooting mode is 50MP instead of 12MP, giving you full resolution shots by default.
But the real upgrade is its telephoto lens. You’re getting a 200MP periscope camera with a 1/1.56″ sensor, f/2.1 aperture, and a Hasselblad-certified 70mm lens (3x optical zoom). It packs “Prism Hybrid OIS” with Active Optical Alignment for steadier shots. OPPO also offers a teleconverter accessory exclusively for the X9 Pro that adds a 12-element lens for 10x optical zoom, 200x digital zoom, and 50x video zoom.

The ultrawide camera uses a 50MP Samsung JN5 sensor (1/2.75″) with 15mm focal length. Same as the Find X9. Up front, the Pro bumps things up to a 50MP f/2.0 selfie camera versus the X9’s 32MP unit.

Video recording hits 4K 120 fps on both main and telephoto cameras. That too with Dolby Vision support. There’s 10-bit LOG recording with ACES for color grading as well, plus Stage Mode and AI Sound Focus designed as well. The entire camera system is powered by OPPO’s “LUMO Image Engine” for computational photography, co-developed with Hasselblad for sensor calibration and optical design.

Battery and Charging

If you were impressed with the 7,205 mAh battery on the Find X9, well, the X9 Pro should impress you more with its larger 7,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery. OPPO claims up to 2 days of average usage, with battery health staying above 80% even after 5 years. Charging speed stays the same with 80W wired and 50W wireless speeds, though.

Other features

Besides all this, the Find X9 Pro gets the same ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that replaced the optical reader from the X8 series. It carries the same thorough IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. And finally, the connectivity options are of the standard suite (5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, and USB Type-C).
