Design and Display
Since this is a “GTR” watch, after all, it has a circular body. Amazfit is emphasizing GTR Mini’s premium build quality, thanks to the stainless steel frame and button (crown). This 5 ATM water-resistant smartwatch also has a glazed back panel that comes in the same color as the silicone strap. At 24.6 grams, this thing is quite lightweight too.
Likewise, the screen on the GTR Mini is a curved 1.28-inch AMOLED panel. Along with a sharp 326 PPI pixel density, this display also gets an anti-fingerprint coating. Amazfit GTR Mini is available in three color options: Midnight Black, Misty Pink, and Ocean Blue.

Health and Fitness Tracking
Disappointingly, the GTR Mini brings Amazfit’s first-gen BioTracker PPG optical sensor. And not BioTracker 3.0 or 4.0, which you’d find on the company’s newer smartwatches like the GTR 4 and GTS 4. Anyway, it offers features like 24/7 monitoring of heart rate, SpO2, and stress levels. There’s also a one-tap measurement option for all three of them with a simple click.
Furthermore, this wearable can send alerts to the user in case of low/high heart rate, low oxygen levels, and high-stress situations too. Other health-tracking features include breathing exercises, PAI measurements, sleep, menstrual cycle tracking, etc.

As for fitness tracking, this smart smartwatch provides 126 sports modes in total. And it can also automatically detect 7 of them, including treadmills, outdoor running, elliptical, outdoor cycling, indoor walking, rowing machine, and walking.

OS and Connectivity
Amazfit GTR Mini runs on Zepp OS 2.0 and is loaded with several health, fitness, and lifestyle apps. It also supports Home Connect third-party apps and three games. In terms of customization, Amazfit offers 100+ watch faces including 11 animated ones here. This watch can display all sorts of app notifications, sedimentary reminders, and call alerts, too. However, you cannot pick up or make calls here.
The smartwatch relies on Bluetooth 5.2 technology for connectivity. It pairs with the Zepp app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices.

Moreover, the GTR Mini also has 5 satellite positioning systems for accurate positioning outdoors. The company claims improved location mapping with its patented circularly-polarized GPS antenna technology.

Battery and Others
Amazfit GTR Mini is fueled by a 280mAh battery that you can fill up in around 2 hours via a magnetic charger. On typical usage, Amazfit claims this watch can last up to 14 days. Or 7 days under heavy usage, and 25 hours with continuous GPS usage.
